For a personally commissioned miniature painting of a loved person, pet or animal, all that is needed is a good clear photograph (photographs) to work from - the more the better!
These can be sent either by email or for actual photographs, posted, the latter of course will be returned.

| Portrait Miniature Silver Frame |
I'm happy to advise on choice of subject and answer any questions.
Most commissions take around two to three weeks to complete from agreement to commence. After a price has been agreed.
I usually price commissions individually, this is dependent on the complexity of the subject, size, choice of frame and destination (for postage and packing pricing).
All miniature portraits are painted with acrylic paint on high quality, heavy weight, and acid free paper and lightly varnished to protect. The finished miniature painting can be supplied framed or unframed.
Portraits for doll house use are usually supplied in hand made wood frames. 1/12 (1")scale 1/24 (1/2")scale and smaller are available. Portrait miniatures are usually presented in free standing silver or brass plated glass protected frames.

Again, please enquire to discuss further details on the type of frame you require.
Once the painting is complete, an image is sent for approval. If all is well I send out a Pay pal invoice, (cheque payment accepted for the U. K only)
My gallery pages contain just a small assortment of my pervious works, just give a flavour of the possibilities
I am always happy to discuss your ideas and requirements. Please see below a small selection of frames available.
